Spring Break Scheduling Updates šŸ—“

As we head into spring break, please be aware of clinician availability to plan ahead.

Lauren’s Availability
Lauren’s availability will be limited from 4/29-5/1 to be home with her children during their school break.

Bianca’s Availability
Bianca will continue to see families during vacation week.

Scheduling Flexibility

We know routines can shift during spring break. If your family would like to adjust appointment times while children are home from school, please reach out and we’re happy to look at the schedule to see what accommodations may be possible.

Thank you for your flexibility and understanding, and as always, we’re so grateful to be part of your family’s care during this season.

More Coverage, More Care

We’ve got great news! We’re now accepting more insurance plans to better support our families, including NH Medicaid, AmeriHealth Caritas, Anthem BCBS, NH Healthy Families, and Ambetter.

We’re so grateful to expand access to our services and help more children get the care they need. If your child has one of these insurance plans, please let us know.

Free Webinar: When Worry Shows Up At The Table

Join Well Fed Feeding Therapy & Sandbox Therapy to untangle your child’s food worries & your stress to create happy & calm mealtimes

When? Tuesday, May 5th from 12:15-1:15pm

Lauren (pediatric feeding therapist) and Amber (childhood anxiety specialist) are hosting a free webinar designed for families who are tired of power struggles, ā€œjust one more biteā€ battles, and worrying if their child is eating enough or the ā€œrightā€ foods.

This webinar is perfect for parents who want to feel less panicked and more flexible with eating, and who are ready for support that understands both feeding and anxiety, not just one or the other.

Food Jags: What They Are & How To Help

A food jag may happen when a child eats the same food, prepared the exact same way, every day or every meal. It’s often about comfort, predictability, and feeling safe.

Prevention Tip

āļø Make Small, Gentle Changes

If your child eats a limited variety, try changing just one small variable at a time and include your child in the process.

For example: shape, color, taste, texture, or temperature.

Family Spotlight

ā

I underestimated how important the parent coaching piece would be. Watching Bianca’s laid-back, low-pressure approach has been great modeling for me. I realized my nervous energy around food probably affected him more than I knew!

Prepare for Starting Solids with ezpz

As a clinician, I often support families in preparing for the transition to solids.

Developmental Kits, like ezpz’s Kit 1, can be helpful because they focus on early oral motor skills and sensory exploration that build feeding readiness. I also appreciate that it includes clear guidance on how to use each tool, which can help caregivers feel more confident. Resources like this can support a smoother and more supported feeding experience.

Use code WELLFED for a discount.

That’s it for now.

As always, keep trusting your gut, keep showing up for your child - and know that you’re never in this alone. šŸ’›

With care,

Lauren
