New! The Feeding Circle

We’re thrilled to be launching more feeding support options for prenatal and postpartum families in November.

The Feeding Circle will provide a safe and inclusive community of people who understand what you’re going through so you can get the support you deserve.

Do you know a caregiver who deserves to feel less stressed and more confident about their baby’s latch and bottle feeding?

šŸ’Œ Email [email protected] with the subject ā€œFeeding Circleā€ and we will add you to our mailing list to learn more!

How To: 3 Ways To Support AAC Users Who Are GLPs

To support AAC users who are Gestalt Language Processors (GLPs), acknowledge and use familiar scripts from media and follow their lead and interests.

  1. Model use of the device: Use the AAC device to model language and make comments to the user.

  2. Echolalia is meaningful: Don’t be afraid to add your child’s meaningful scripts onto their device.

  3. Collaborate with a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP): Your child’s SLP can help customize the device and link video clips or song lyrics to icons with your child’s meaningful scripts.

Appointment Availability

We’re happy to share that a few openings have become available for morning and early afternoon sessions. Afternoon times remain limited, so please contact us as soon as possible if you have a preferred slot.

Email [email protected] or call (978) 224-8803 to schedule an appointment with Lauren and Bianca.

Attendance Policy: Cold & Flu Season

šŸ¤’ As cold and flu season approaches please stay home with your child and cancel their appointment if:

  • They have a fever, diarrhea or are vomiting within the last 24 hours.

  • If illness has impacted their energy level, eating, drinking, and they are not back to their baseline.

Children do their best in therapy when they are feeling well, and we want to continue to keep their experience positive!

When cancelling an appointment due to illness please provide as much time as possible. To cancel please email [email protected]. We understand you can’t always predict when illness occurs, so we will make exceptions to the attendance policy when necessary for illnesses.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed for a healthy winter!

With care,

Lauren
